Wednesday and Thursday puzzles sit in the middle of the Typeshift difficulty band. Puzzle #2 (Thursday, May 28, 2026) is calibrated to challenge a regular player without producing the frustration that the harder weekend puzzles are designed to deliver. Mid-week is a good place to start the Typeshift archive for players who already know the mechanic but want a longer puzzle than the Monday or Tuesday calibration provides.
Late-May puzzles close the calendar month, with puzzle #2 part of that closing run. The Typeshift calibration does not shift specifically for end-of-month — the puzzle difficulty follows the day-of-week band per the published methodology — but players who track monthly solve streaks often pay extra attention to the closing days to lock in a full-month run.
