Spelltower · how to play
Spelltower in 60 seconds
- You get a 6×7 tower of letter tiles.
- Tap a tile to start a word, then tap adjacent tiles (orthogonal or diagonal) to extend it.
- Tap the last tile again — or hit Submit — to play the word.
- Valid words (3+ letters) clear those tiles. Letters above fall down.
- Hit Finish when you're done. Your score saves locally.
Scoring
Letters have Scrabble-like point values (A/E/I = 1, K = 5, J/X = 8, Q/Z = 10). Your word score = letter values × length bonus. A 7-letter word scores roughly 3× what its letters alone would.
Tips
- Clear the bottom rows first — that's where gravity helps you the most.
- Save high-value letters (J, Q, X, Z) for longer words to maximize the length bonus.
- Diagonal adjacency is allowed — don't get tunnel vision on straight rows.
- If you tap a tile already in your word, the path trims back to that tile.
