Nonogram
Wednesday and Thursday puzzles sit in the middle of the Nonogram difficulty band. Puzzle #1 (Wednesday, May 27, 2026) is calibrated to challenge a regular player without producing the frustration that the harder weekend puzzles are designed to deliver. Mid-week is a good place to start the Nonogram archive for players who already know the mechanic but want a longer puzzle than the Monday or Tuesday calibration provides.
Late-May puzzles close the calendar month, with puzzle #1 part of that closing run. The Nonogram calibration does not shift specifically for end-of-month — the puzzle difficulty follows the day-of-week band per the published methodology — but players who track monthly solve streaks often pay extra attention to the closing days to lock in a full-month run.
